Job OverviewWe are seeking a knowledgeable and personable Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, educate customers about our products, and ensure a welcoming shopping experience. This role involves assisting customers with their selections, managing sales transactions, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the retail space. Previous retail or supervisory experience, upselling and familiarity with POS systems, especially in a cannabis space is a plus. The Budtender plays a vital role in fostering customer loyalty and promoting our product in a professional manner.KEEP 100% OF YOUR TIPS AS A BUDTENDER! What You’ll Do<ul><li>Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance regarding our product range. </li><li>Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties. </li><li>Conduct product demos to educate customers about different products and their benefits. </li><li>Upsell additional products or accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and sales volume. </li><li>Maintain proper merchandising standards, including stocking shelves and organizing displays. </li><li>Ensure the retail area is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times </li><li>Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment </li><li>Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy. </li><li>Supervise or assist in supervising staff when necessary, ensuring smooth store operations. </li><li>Promote a positive shopping environment through effective communication skills and friendly demeanor. </li><li>Other duties may be assigned to help meet business needs.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent required. </li><li>Must be at least 21 years of age or older. </li><li>Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer engagement</li><li>Experience in retail sales, upselling, merchandising, and stock management</li><li>Supervising experience is preferred but not required; leadership qualities are a plus</li><li>Ability to perform product demos confidently to educate customers about product features and        benefits</li><li>Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately</li><li>Excellent customer service skills to create a welcoming atmosphere</li><li>Previous experience in a highly regulated cannabis atmosphere or retail environments is preferred but not mandatory</li><li>Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail</li></ul>

Job OverviewUS Cannalytics is seeking a Microbiologist who is looking for a challenging position in an independent, state-licensed testing laboratory serving the Michigan cannabis market. The successful candidate will be reliable, exhibit strong attention to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced, production-driven laboratory environment.This role is responsible for executing state-mandated microbiological testing while maintaining strict compliance with SOPs, ISO requirements, and state regulations. The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience organizing and performing high-volume, multi-assay microbiological workflows to meet laboratory production demands. This includes preparation of test samples and quality controls for molecular and culture-based methods, supporting environmental monitoring activities, maintaining inventory and documentation, and working collaboratively to meet established turnaround times and quality standards.This position is also responsible for daily laboratory maintenance, compliant documentation, and providing technical expertise to laboratory personnel.Experience in an environmental, public health, food science, or other regulated laboratory environment is preferred.This is a full-time, in-lab position based in Warren, MI.Minimum Qualifications<ul><li style="line-height:normal">Must be 21 years of age or older</li><li style="line-height:normal">Bachelor's degree in a natural science (biology, chemistry, environmental sciences, or related field)</li><li style="line-height:normal">Must pass criminal background check</li><li style="line-height:normal">At least 1 year of professional experience with culture-based microbiology methods</li><li style="line-height:normal">At least 1 year of professional experience with molecular genetic techniques (qPCR/PCR)</li><li style="line-height:normal">Strong working knowledge of aseptic technique</li><li style="line-height:normal">Ability to communicate effectively with both scientific and non-scientific staff</li><li style="line-height:normal">Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively</li></ul>Essential Duties<ul><li>Responsible for cannabis sample tracking and destruction</li><li>Responsible for accurate measurement and documentation of product weights</li><li>Prepare samples for microbiological assays and testing using aseptic technique</li><li>Execute microbiological testing according to SOPs and state testing requirements</li><li>Analyze data from testing and submit to the Laboratory Director or designee</li><li>Review, document, and approve microbiological testing results and quality controls in the laboratory information management system (LIMS)</li><li>Perform area and instrument cleaning, maintenance, and calibration, including compliant documentation of associated logs</li><li>Ensure all SOPs, state regulations, and safety requirements are followed when handling potentially infectious material and biohazardous waste</li><li>Assist in developing methods to quantitate and identify microorganisms in cannabis products</li><li>Perform or assist in instrument qualification and validations</li><li>Perform proficiency testing, including documentation and submission</li><li>Develop and maintain microbial cultures for study</li><li>Provide recommendations to improve microbial assay workflow and turnaround time</li><li>Maintain current technical knowledge and support microbiology-related questions from laboratory personnel</li><li>Perform all other duties as assigned, which may include cannabis sampling</li><li>Follow company SOPs, all rules, regulations, and laws for the transportation of items for medical marijuana testing</li><li>Works in a timely manner, strives to improve quality and maintain accuracy.</li><li>Employees are expected to exercise reasonable discretion in the performance of their duties.</li></ul>Work EnvironmentThe work environment characteristics described below are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
