PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** + Install metal stud framing, install drywall, install wall protection including FRP, Acrovyn, and plywood, install doors, door frames and windows, install door hardware + Repair walls, ceilings, screens, sashes, doors, furniture, fixtures, stairs, cupboards, windows and roofs + Build, repair and install cabinets, patient furniture, staff furniture and casework + Install wall hung fixtures such as; blood pressure gauges, chair exit alarms, cup-towel-toilet paper dispensers, shelving, bulletin boards, sharps containers, soap dispenser, hand gel dispensers, glove box holders and medicine cabinets + Adjust, repair or replace locks, weather stripping, screens, mirrors, brackets, window blinds, curtain tracks, handrails, hinges, closures, panic hardware + Operate power equipment such as saws, jointers, lathes, sanders, planers, boring and mortising machines; clean, sharpen, maintain and repair such equipment **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** Completion of a recognized apprenticeship as a carpenter; or full journey status as a carpenter in a union; or four years' applicable work experience. **Compensation, Benefits and Position Details** **Pay Range Minimum:** $32.49 hourly **Pay Range Maximum:** $43.20 hourly **Other Compensation:** - **Benefits:** For information about benefits for this position, visit https://www.washington.edu/jobs/benefits-for-uw-staff/ **Shift:** First Shift (United States of America) **Temporary or Regular?**
