Primary duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Prospect, develop, and maintain a consistent book of direct shipper customers in a variety of industries (manufacturing, food & beverage, agriculture, building materials, etc.) throughout the Midwest and nationally. Identify, negotiate, and secure both spot and contractual freight opportunities that exceed the capacity of the company's asset fleet (overflow freight) or that fall outside our core lanes and equipment capabilities.
