As a Field Inspector covering Cannon County, you will perform residential occupancy verifications. These are brief, exterior visits to confirm property status and report on general conditions.<ul><li>Autonomy: You manage your own routing, schedule, and territory.</li><li>Efficiency: Standard inspections are designed for speed, typically requiring only 5–6 minutes on-site.</li><li>Consistency: Enjoy stable, month-to-month volume in your assigned county.</li></ul><h3>Workflow & Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Determine property occupancy status based on industry-standard indicators.</li><li>Capture 9+ photos and submit brief reports using industry-standard mobile applications.</li><li>Maintain a high level of reliability regarding territory coverage and deadlines.</li></ul>Note: This role requires spending extended periods of time driving and making numerous stops throughout the day in your assigned territory. This territory covers a dense metro area where familiarity with city driving, parking, and navigating multi-unit properties is helpful.<h3>Requirements</h3>As an independent contractor, you are responsible for providing your own equipment, including:<ul><li>Reliable, fuel-efficient vehicle.</li><li>Smartphone (Android or iPhone) capable of running mobile reporting apps.</li><li>Computer with an internet connection and a printer.</li><li>Strong time-management skills to meet deadlines without direct supervision.</li><li>Ability to pass a standard background check.</li></ul><h3>Earnings & Volume</h3><ul><li>Flat-Rate Pay: This is a 1099 position where you are paid a set fee for every inspection completed.</li><li>Earning Potential: While pay is per-inspection, efficient contractors typically earn the equivalent of $25–$35 per hour.</li><li>Volume: Rates and inspection volume vary by county. Performs the role of a shopkeeper, presenting merchandise to customers, assisting with merchandise selection, and facilitating the sales transaction. Responsibilities * Be actively involved in the sales process through the increase of personal sales, and total sales for Five and Tenn. * Responsible for shop cleanliness, proper displays, placing new merchandise on floor as well as insuring all items are properly tagged and inventory control. * Stocks shelves, counters, tables, and similar display fixtures with merchandise in a fashion that maximizes product visibility and promotes sales. * Provides suggestions, information, and similar assistance to customers as requested. Maintains substantial knowledge of products in assigned store as well as general product knowledge regarding merchandise for sale in other retail outlets on property. * Accurately record sales and other transactions using the point of sale system. Accept payment and make change as necessary following established accounting procedures. * Complete and accurate technical knowledge of store point of sale, end of day paperwork and cash handling skills. * Completes daily sales reports for analysis. * Is aware of current monthly sales performance and increases sales per hour and units per transaction as required. * Maintains awareness to all safety precautions and procedures to ensure a safe atmosphere for guests and employee partners. * Participates in periodic merchandise inventory as scheduled. * Proactively work to seek out ways in which to improve the Five and Tenn experience for our guests. * Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner. * Interact with other departments to ensure that guest needs are satisfied. * Speak with guests in a friendly, warm manner, making them feel welcome. * Adhere to all policies regarding employee purchases Qualifications * Prior experience in a similar retail/customer services role, preferred. * Previous cashiering experience is preferred * Ability to compute accurate mathematical calculations. * Ability to think clearly, quickly and make concise decisions. * Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, management, and co-workers, both in person and by telephone. * Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance. * Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays. * Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 40 pounds without assistance. * Stand, walk or sit for an extended period or for an entire work shift. * Requires repetitive motion, including utilizing telephone/computer for an extended period or for an entire shift.
