What You Will Learn: During the internship, you will develop a greater understanding of the rights and responsibilities of consumers and businesses and learn about state, federal and local consumer laws on subjects such as advertising, deceptive trade practices, auto repairs and sales, contracts, housing, telemarketing, and warranties. The OAG also protects the public by civil enforcement of antitrust, civil rights, consumer protection, and securities laws and regulations and by the prosecution of organized crime, Medicaid fraud, environmental crimes, insurance fraud, state tax evasion, and other statutorily assigned matters.
