Expected salary range of $216,900 to $241,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).Primary Purpose of PositionProvide overall proactive management of the site engineering function including System Engineering, Design Engineering, Engineering Programs and Engineering Administration with respect to station needs and regulatory requirements. Primary Duties and Accountabilities<ul><li>Provide overall management of the site engineering function including System Engineering, Design Engineering, Engineering Programs, and Engineering Administration with respect to station needs and regulatory requirements. </li><li>Manage the performance and development of site engineering personnel relative to site and corporate objectives and provide focus on the attainment of high-quality engineering results. </li><li>Participates as key manager in Business Planning, Budget, and Business Performance review regarding Site Engineering. Fulfill managerial responsibilities regarding assigned staff (e.g., Employment, Development, Compensation, Performance Evaluation, etc.). Ensures consistent and effective work force practices through assigned supervisors/functions. </li><li>Manage the execution of Architect/Engineer (A/E) services for the site as they pertain to the engineering function. </li><li>Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department.</li></ul> Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear) or related science OR Active/Inactive Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license </li><li>12 years overall experience, which includes 4 years power plant, 4 years nuclear power plant experience and 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience </li><li>Active SRO license, inactive SRO license, SRO certification or plant operational knowledge consistent with the requirements of the engineering manager's job </li><li>Must meet additional requirements as outlined in ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 Standard, "Selection, Qualification, and Training of Personnel for Nuclear Power Plants"</li><li>Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties </li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Professional Engineer Registration</li><li>Team-driven experience in a matrixed environment</li></ul>

The primary focus will be on infrastructure projects, including facility roof siding repair and railroad repair. This role demands an individual with proven project management experience, capable of organizing teams, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining safety standards.Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage and oversee capital projects ranging from $0.5 million to $1 million in size.</li><li>Organize and coordinate project teams to ensure efficient execution.</li><li>Ensure all projects are completed on time and adhere to safety standards.</li><li>Implement and uphold safety regulations, particularly Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.</li><li>Coordinate with contractors to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.</li><li>Maintain communication with all stakeholders to provide updates on project progress.</li></ul>Essential Skills<ul><li>Project management experience in a chemical or heavy industrial environment.</li><li>Strong understanding of safety and regulatory standards.</li><li>Experience in field execution and construction management.</li><li>Proficiency in project planning and scheduling.</li><li>Experience in Chemical/Process Engineering.</li><li>Experience with heavy industrial machines.</li></ul>Additional Skills & Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor"s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, or a related field preferred.</li><li>Experience valued over formal education; relevant practical experience is essential.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Smartsheet for project planning.</li><li>Familiarity with CAD drawings and software.</li><li>Experience in managing projects within the $500k - $1 million range.</li><li>Experience in a chemical manufacturing environment is an advantage.</li></ul>Work EnvironmentThis is a 100% on-site position at a chemical manufacturing plant, operating on a 4-day, 10-hour/day schedule from Monday to Thursday. The work environment is fast-paced, with a high level of independence due to a hands-off management approach.
