This role sits at the intersection of software and hardware - you'll be responsible for existing factory automation systems (PLC controls, robotics, mechanical and hydraulic systems) while also identifying and leading new automation opportunities that improve safety, quality, and efficiency. It's a hands-on role. You'll be on the floor troubleshooting real problems, then back at your desk writing code, developing work instructions, or presenting your findings.
