Manage the personnel and budget for all matters relative to CYF in the Area; represents CYF services to stakeholders and organizations i.e. DCF,DYS, DDS, Courts, LEA/School Districts, Children's Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI) provider network, Inpatient facilities; networks with other agency personnel to create opportunities for collaboration; acts as a liaison to DMH Adult Services in creating seamless systems and services for Young Adult clients; provides or organizes with existing Area CYF Staff, trainings to other State agencies, community agencies, county services, schools, courts, police, community groups and CBHI on access and coordination with DMH CYF Services. Advise the Area Director and Deputy Commissioner in deciding strategic policy, program and service provision issues; prepare position papers on policy, program development, evaluation and service provision implementation issues and strategies; recommend service priorities, policies and strategies; represent the Area on Statewide workgroups and special projects; represent the Area Director on community services related matters; interact with representatives of stakeholder agencies, state and federal agencies, institutions including Local Education Authorities, and the general public; represent the Area Director or Deputy Commissioner when appropriate.
