Job description:Accident Centers of Texas is a well renowned multidisciplinary practice providing Physical Therapy and Chiropractic services to auto injury and personal injury patients.At ACT Garland we would like to hire Doctor of Chiropractic to help with our ongoing operations and business needs. This DC will also provide the coverage in Garland location. Bilingual is a MUST<ul><li>Conduct patient consultations by reviewing health and medical histories; questioning, observing and examining patients.</li><li>Perform manual adjustments to the spine, or other articulations of the body, to correct the musculoskeletal system.</li><li>Use heat, cold, massage therapy and other methods to treat patients</li><li>Obtain and record patients’ medical histories.</li><li>Arrange for diagnostic x-rays to be taken, and reviewing or referring x-rays</li><li>Analyze x-rays to locate the sources of patients’ difficulties and rule out fractures or diseases as sources of problems.</li><li>Maintain accurate case histories of patients.</li><li>Educate patients on the quality-of-life benefits of routine chiropractic care.</li><li>Provide a patient with educational resources and a recommended course of treatment.</li><li>Creating a plan of care that focuses on the patient’s overall health and wellbeing</li><li>Assessing the patient’s spine, posture and reflexes to provide the appropriate treatment</li><li>Performing neuromusculoskeletal therapy by adjusting the patient’s spine and other joints</li><li>Providing supplemental treatments, such as massage and acupuncture to the injured area</li><li>Giving advice on lifestyle habits such as sleep, exercise and diet to improve patients’ physical health</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Must have Doctor of Chiropractic Degree and State of TX License</li><li>Must have Personal Injury and Auto Injury experience.</li><li>Experienced Chiropractors</li><li>Training in soft tissue/joint mobilization techniques</li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills</li><li>Positive, enthusiastic, empathetic, selfless personality</li><li>Strong time management skills</li><li>Experience using Microsoft Office, Excel, Google etc.</li><li>Highly experienced in using EMR</li><li>Bilingual is a MUST</li></ul>Garland Clinic Address: 1311 Marketplace Dr #140 Garland, TX 75041Full timeCompetitive payJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>Spanish (Required)</li></ul>Shift availability:<ul><li>Day Shift (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Garland, TX 75041 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In personPowered by JazzHR
