To organize and direct the City's community development and economic development activities, including redevelopment, planning, engineering, building, housing, and code enforcement; to develop, implement and evaluate goals, objectives, policies, and procedures related to these functions; and to provide highly complex and responsible professional, administrative, and technical assistance to the City Manager, City Council and commissions and act as a member of the City's executive management team. Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate the programs, services, and activities for the divisions responsible for developing and implementing the City's planning, engineering, building, and community improvement functions.
