Desired qualifications include a demonstrated a focus on beginning design instruction, experience with contemporary drawing and modeling techniques (such as analog media, Rhino, Grasshopper, ArcGIS, or digital fabrication), experience in professional practice, experience in teaching, professional registration, and/or advanced degrees in Environmental Design or related fields. As part of Auburn University’s College of Architecture, Design and Construction, APLA works alongside the McWhorter School of Building Science and the School of Industrial + Graphic Design to prepare future leaders in design and construction while fostering collaboration across the School, College, and broader University.
