Establishes IEMP objectives, effectively correlating the requirements on interdependent functional areas and provides comprehensive and timely guidance for all units in accordance with the National Response Framework (NRF), National Disaster Recovery Framework (NDRF), Homeland Security Presidential Directives (HSPDs), National Incident Management System (NIMS), Defense Support to Civil Authorities (DSCA), DoD guidance and consequence management (CM). The primary purpose of this position is: To develop, review, coordinate and execute the installations EM and CBRN Defense programs in support of Joint Service, the DoD, DAF, major commands/field commands, Numbered Air Force federal, state, local, and host nation plans in the mission area(s) of prevention, protection, mitigation, response, and recovery.
