This is an entry level position, however we believe in cultivating our employees' potential and promote from within.<br/><br/><strong>Job Summary:</strong></div><ul><li>The Floor Care Technician is responsible for the overall floor maintenance of hard surfaces and carpet (including scrubbing, buffing, carpet extraction, vacuuming, etc.).</li><li>The Floor Care Technician provides superior cleaning services onsite at Carlson client locations under limited supervision and works in a collaborative relationship with other Carlson Building Maintenance team members.</li><li>The Floor Care Technician is a representative of Carlson and interacts with customers, store personnel and the public in a respectful and friendly manner.</li></ul><div><br/><strong>Job Tasks:</strong></div><ul><li>Operating Floor Machines.</li><li>Sweeping.</li><li>Debris Cleanup.</li><li>Vacuuming.</li><li>Restroom Cleaning.</li><li>Quality Control Checks.</li><li>New Hire Training.</li></ul><div><br/></div><div><strong>Requirements:</strong></div><ul><li>Availability to work on weekends.</li><li>Reliable transportation or access to public transportation.</li></ul><div><br/><strong>Physical Demands:</strong></div><ul><li>Ability to regularly lift 45 pounds.</li><li>Ability to push and pull floor cleaning equipment over concrete, tile and carpeted floors.</li><li>Must possess sufficient physical strength, ability and stamina to perform a variety of janitorial tasks related to care of floors.</li><li>Ability to work with a variety of cleaning products.</li><li>Ability to work night shift and/or very early morning hours as dictated by the needs of the position.</li><li>Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.</li></ul><div><br/><strong>Benefits:</strong></div><ul><li>Paid Time Off.</li><li>Bonus Referral Program.</li><li>Health Insurance Benefits.</li></ul><div><br/>We are an equal opportunity employer.
