p>Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Qualifications:
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds, physical ability to mop, clean, disinfect, sweep and provide general Environmental Services in a medical and office setting, ability to effectively provide customer service to the staff, clients and visitors to the Department of Health Facility, ability to enter data into a computer after specific skills training, ability to identify maintenance issues and provide solutions to correct basic facility repairs, ability to read and understand Material Safety Data sheets and requirements, willingness to learn proper handling of hazardous materials/chemicals safety, willing to learn proper handling, disposal and storage of bio-medical, valid drivers license, and willing to learn to identify safety hazards.
Preferred - Mechanical aptitude for light maintenance in building repair and preventative maintenance practices, experience with safe work practices, training or experience using robotic cleaning technology, inventory control training or experience, use of Tablet / I pad for data entry, flexibility in work schedule to accommodate special projects.
