Become a part of our caring community The Medical Receptionist is responsible for the front desk operations of a healthcare facility. This role involves greeting patients, scheduling appointments, handling inquiries, and maintaining patient records. The Medical Receptionist ensures a smooth and welcoming experience for patients and supports the medical team with various administrative tasks. Typically works on routine and patterned assignments. This is a Float position. You will be required to work at both Augusta, GA and North Augusta, SC Clinics. The Medical Receptionist is responsible for welcoming patients and offering administrative support within a physician practice or center. This may include the following responsibilities: <ul><li>Greeting Patients: Welcome patients and visitors professionally, both in person and over the phone. </li><li>Scheduling Appointments: Manage appointment calendars, schedule patient visits, and coordinate with medical staff to optimize schedules. </li><li>Patient Records: Maintain and update patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Works in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. </li><li>Billing and Payments: Ensure patient accounts are updated correctly. May include collecting copay at time of visit. </li><li>Inquiries and Communication: Answer incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries, and provide general information. </li><li>Office Management: Ensure the reception area is tidy, sanitized, and well-stocked with necessary materials. </li><li>Administrative Support: Assist with other administrative tasks as needed, such as ordering supplies, managing office inventory, and sending courier packages. </li></ul>Use your skills to make an impact Required Qualifications<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED </li><li>1 year or more of experience working in a Healthcare setting preferred, but will consider candidates with a strong Customer Service background in Retail Hospitality, Call Centers, etc. </li><li>Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving patient experiences and care </li><li>Excellent customer service and phone etiquette </li><li>This role is considered patient-facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program.
