Required clinical competencies include Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation, initiating and titrating drips (antiarrhythmics, heparin, amio), PIV insertion, chest tube and indwelling drain management, CBI, stable drips (heparin, Lasix, Protonix), antidysrhythmic management (Cardizem, Tikosyn dosing, amio), and nephrostomy tubes. Unit Details: - Cardiac Renal Unit (CRU), a high-acuity Tele/Med-Surg unit with a cardiac-heavy population, including Afib with RVR, Afib, flutter, blocks, heart cath patients without interventions, CHF, COPD, sepsis, BH/CIWA, post-ablation, and dialysis patients.
