Machine Tool Technology degree a definite plus. * 2 to 4 years of manufacturing experience operating CNC mills or lathes; prior military experience; or technical certification / degree* Basic English language skills and the ability to read, follow, and interpret planning and work order instructions * Basic PC skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) * Ability to professionally communicate and work cooperatively with others * As required, must be able to pass any Customer required testing/machining specifications pertaining to their parts and standards. * Skill in following directions both verbal and written and in transferring instructions into action. * Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks and high volume of work on a deadline. * Attention to detail * Intermediate math skills to include adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, and fractions for the purpose of print reading and tolerance determination. * Willingness to learn* Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to thirty-five (35) pounds on a repetitive basis. * Must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, climb, kneel, twist and work at heights on an intermittent basis for up to twelve (12) hours. * Requires hand manipulation including simple grasping, pushing and pulling of materials. * Must be able to safety operate an overhead crane. * Must be able to reach and work above and below the shoulder level. * Must be able to work with and around forklifts and hazardous machinery. * Must be able to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment. * Visual acuity skill to detect any flaws in the parts being inspected.
