Eaton's IS AER FMC division is currently seeking a CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift. The core hours are 3:30pm to 12:00am. The hourly rate for this position is $28.27 + $1.00 shift differential per hour.Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you'll do:Eaton Aerospace Group is currently seeking CNC Machinists to join our 2nd shift team. This position is based in our Jackson, MS facility.The hourly rate for this position is $28.27 + $1.00 p/h shift differential per hour. The hours for this role are 3:30 pm - 12:00 am. Now offering a $2,500 SIGN ON BONUS.<ul><li>Rotate through each lean cell function and rotation through other lean cells.</li><li>Perform visual and physical inspection of parts using functional measuring equipment.</li><li>Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) know how to detect an out-of-control condition as well as other problem-solving methodologies to ensure quality of product.</li><li>Interpret and work from complex drawings, blueprints, and specifications.</li><li>Set up and operate distinct types of machines and finishing equipment (lathes, mills, drills; CNC & Manual, grinders, CNC grinders, laps, hones) without assistance and maintain proper tolerances.</li><li>Be responsible for returning all tools to their proper location at the end of the shift and cleaning work area.</li><li>Perform sub-assembly operations such as, installation of pins, plugs, inserts, bearings, miscellaneous components, etc.</li></ul>Qualifications:Basic (Required) Qualifications:<ul><li>Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.</li><li>Machining certificate or Associate's degree in a technical field, OR a minimum of two (2) years of experience in machining.</li><li>CNC experience with lathes, mills, grinders, manual hone, or lap.</li><li>Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
