Position Summary:We are seeking a dependable CNC Machine Operator to join our fabrication team on 2nd shift. This position is responsible for operating CNC machinery to accurately cut and produce parts according to drawings, specifications, and work orders. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Responsibilities:Operate CNC machines to cut and fabricate parts to specificationRead and interpret blueprints, cut files, and work ordersInspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy standards are metPerform basic machine setup, adjustments, and routine preventative maintenanceMonitor machine operation and troubleshoot minor issues as neededMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentFollow all company safety procedures, policies, and production guidelinesQualifications:Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a fabrication shop or CNC manufacturing environmentAbility to read and interpret basic blueprints and measurementsStrong attention to detail and quality controlAbility to lift up to 50 lbs regularlyReliable attendance and ability to work the scheduled 2nd shift hoursBasic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with manufacturing equipment preferred

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, machinist apprenticeship certification, 3+ years of experience, blueprint reading, CAD/CAM skills, and CNC programming knowledge. You will set up and operate CNC and manual machines to produce precision metal parts, reading blueprints and technical drawings.

This onsite Machinist role is based in Ocala, FL, working Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime as needed. You will set up and operate CNC and manual machines to produce precision metal parts, reading blueprints and technical drawings. Responsibilities include fabricating parts, selecting tools, measuring quality, troubleshooting machinery, and maintaining equipment and workspace. Collaboration with engineers and continuous learning are essential. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, machinist apprenticeship certification, 3+ years of experience, blueprint reading, CAD/CAM skills, and CNC programming knowledge. This position involves physical demands typical of a machine shop, such as standing for long periods and lifting up to 30-50 pounds with PPE required.
