They serve customers in many different industries including manufacturing, industrial, agricultural, commercial, and residential. We are seeking a <strong>M</strong><strong>a</strong><strong>c</strong><strong>h</strong><strong>i</strong><strong>n</strong><strong>is</strong><strong>t</strong><strong> </strong>with CNC and manual machining skills to join their team.</div><div> </div><div><strong>Q</strong><strong>ualifica</strong><strong>tions:</strong></div><ul><li>Must have 1+ year of experience programming and operating CNC and manual lathes and mills</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent required</li><li>Vocational/technical school training or apprenticeship preferred</li><li>Understanding of materials, cutting tools, speeds and feeds, and machining techniques</li><li>Experience working with ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals, and plastics</li><li>Detail oriented; attentive to accuracy, efficiency, and neatness</li><li>Ability to lift 35+ pounds</li><li>Prolonged periods of standing and bending required.</li></ul><div><strong> </strong></div><div><strong>Key Responsibilitie</strong><strong>s:</strong></div><ul><li>Setup, operate, and program CNC lathes and mills</li><li>Setup and operate manual lathes and mills</li><li>Read and interpret shop drawings and design sketches to ensure proper dimensions and specifications for parts</li><li>Select the appropriate cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials to be used on machines</li><li>Prepare materials by means of saw cutting, surface grinding, sanding, and deburring</li><li>Adjust speeds and feeds and machining techniques as deemed necessary</li><li>Examine and measure completed units and parts to identify any defects and to ensure units conform with predetermined specifications; adjust machine controls to resolve production errors</li><li>Modify machines to control speed, material feed, or path of cut as required to ensure a quality product is produced with specifications</li><li>Inspect machinery for any needed repairs; performs minor repairs within expertise</li><li>Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized workspace</li><li>Comply with applicable safety standards and regulations</li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned</li></ul><div><strong> </strong></div><div><strong>Schedule:</strong></div><ul><li>Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm, Fridays 6am-3:30pm</li></ul><div><strong> </strong></div><div><strong>Pay:</strong></div><ul><li>$20-$30/hour based on experience</li></ul><div>#ISS</div>

The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC lathe machines to produce precision metal components. You will work closely with our engineering and quality teams to ensure parts meet exact specifications.<br/>RESPONSIBILITIES<ul style="margin-bottom:11px"><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and technical drawings to understand machining requirements.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Set up CNC machines, including tooling, fixtures, offsets, and program loading.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Operate CNC machines to perform precise operations.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Inspect first-piece and in-process parts to verify conformance using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Adjust machine settings, tool wear offsets, and programs as needed to maintain quality and tolerances.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and work area.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Collaborate with engineering and quality teams on process improvements and problem-solving.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Maintain accurate production records and logs.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Follow all safety protocols and company policies.</li></ul><br/>QUALIFICATIONS<ul style="margin-bottom:11px"><li style="margin-bottom:11px">High school diploma or GED required; technical trade school certification preferred.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Minimum 3-5 years of lathe experience, including setup and programming.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Strong understanding of programming and experience with CNC controllers </li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Proficient with precision measuring instruments and interpreting technical drawings.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Ability to work independently and troubleshoot machining issues.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Strong attention to detail, quality-minded, and safety-conscious.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Forklift certification or willingness to obtain is a plus.</li></ul><br/>BENEFIT OFFERINGS<br/>Competitive Compensation Package including healthcare, dental and supplementary insurance, 401K, vacation and holiday pay.<br/><br/><br/> <p>Powered by JazzHR</p>
