The Patient Care Specialist provides effective customer service by using in-depth knowledge of front office processes to include patient registration and insurance practices, as well as effective communication processes to both patients and clinic employees. Responsibilities:
PRIMARY:<ul><li>Demonstrates a high level of Customer Service to greet, register, and discharge all patients</li><li>Ability to cross train and assist with back-office duties as needed within scope of practice.</li><li>Accurately collect and input patient demographics and financial information at the time of registration for all patients.</li><li>Verifies and updates all patient insurance information at the time of registration.</li><li>Maintains strong knowledge of Medical Insurance Plans including but not limited to co-pays, deductibles, and coverage limits.</li><li>Stays up to date with all changes to Government and Commercial Insurance Plans.</li><li>Maintains a high-level understanding and knowledge of the Fast Pace Self-Pay program</li><li>Collects all insurance, co-pays or deductibles, or Self-Pay amounts at the time of registration of each patient.</li><li>Answers the phone with a polite, patient-centered manner demonstrating a commitment to positive patient experiences though outstanding Customer Service.</li><li>Maintains Fast Pace Customer Service levels and facilitating patient flow by notifying the provider of patient’s arrival, being aware of delays, and communicating with patients and clinical staff appropriately.</li><li>Retrieves, faxes, or mails medical records to primary care providers as needed. The Director of Software Engineering leads and develops a team of software engineers responsible for

Kanban/flow for operational work).</li><li>Experience designing and scaling integration solutions in complex environments (APIs, event-driven architectures, and service-to-service integration) with an emphasis on reuse, standards, and maintainability.</li><li>Cloud engineering experience—preferably AWS—including modern CI/CD automation and infrastructure-aware development practices.</li><li>Strong grasp of modern engineering practices: code review, automated testing, secure coding, observability, and high-quality technical documentation.</li><li>Hands-on familiarity with .NET and microservices-based solutions (or equivalent modern backend frameworks) to guide technical direction and unblock teams.</li><li>Experience partnering with Quality Engineering teams or operating within a Quality Center of</li><li>Excellence;
