The right candidate should be a self starter with the ability and desire to get things done. This is a minimum 40 hour role working in the community at the delivery sites and in the office in Benton, KY. This is a key role around which an expanding team will be built. Healthcare and or Physician Practice Management required. Below are many of the key ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li><ul><li>Practice Management<ul><li>Ensure members are scheduled, staff is scheduled, time sheets are managed, payroll is prepared, inventory is managed and other general practice management functions occur</li><li>Be familiar with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements</li></ul>Business Office Operations:<ul><li>Oversee various practice operations, including Billing, Scheduling, Coding, Payroll Processing, Inventory Accounting, and Patient Billing.</li><li>Ensure accurate and timely financial transactions.</li></ul>Financial Reporting:<ul><li>Prepare and distribute monthly financial statements timely.</li><li>Assist with regulatory reporting requirements (CMS, IRS, etc..).</li></ul>Technical Accounting:<ul><li>Research and address technical accounting issues to ensure compliance.</li><li>Support/oversee month-end and year-end close processes.</li></ul>Budgeting and Forecasting:<ul><li>Track and administer budgets and financial forecasts.</li><li>Analyze variances and provide insights to improve financial performance.</li></ul>Internal Controls:<ul><li>Adhere to business processes and accounting policies.</li><li>Strengthen internal controls to safeguard financial integrity.</li></ul></li><li/></ul></li></ul><ul></ul><ul></ul><ul></ul>EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree or Higher<ul><li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, finance or related field.</li><li>CPA or CMA is a bonus</li><li>Clinical Licensure AND business expertise is a bonus.</li></ul>EXPERIENCE: <ul><li>Proven work experience healthcare operations and Physician Practice Management</li><li>At least 5 years healthcare operations and or Physician Practice Management</li><li>Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).</li><li>Experience with creating financial statements and general ledger functions.</li><li>Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.  NetSuite  a plus.</li><li>Advanced knowledge of Excel</li><li><ul></ul></li></ul>ADDITIONAL IMPORTANT ATTRIBUTES:<ul><li>Effective communicator.</li><li>The ability to think strategically.</li><li>Strong analytical skills.</li><li>Demonstrates unwavering integrity, maintaining transparency and ethical conduct.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills.</li><li>The ability to manage accounting staff, providing guidance, training and performance evaluations.</li></ul>

Responsibilities:
PRIMARY:<ul><li>Demonstrates a high level of Customer Service to greet, register, and discharge all patients</li><li>Ability to cross train and assist with back-office duties as needed within scope of practice.</li><li>Accurately collect and input patient demographics and financial information at the time of registration for all patients.</li><li>Verifies and updates all patient insurance information at the time of registration.</li><li>Maintains strong knowledge of Medical Insurance Plans including but not limited to co-pays, deductibles, and coverage limits.</li><li>Stays up to date with all changes to Government and Commercial Insurance Plans.</li><li>Maintains a high-level understanding and knowledge of the Fast Pace Self-Pay program</li><li>Collects all insurance, co-pays or deductibles, or Self-Pay amounts at the time of registration of each patient.</li><li>Answers the phone with a polite, patient-centered manner demonstrating a commitment to positive patient experiences though outstanding Customer Service.</li><li>Maintains Fast Pace Customer Service levels and facilitating patient flow by notifying the provider of patient’s arrival, being aware of delays, and communicating with patients and clinical staff appropriately.</li><li>Retrieves, faxes, or mails medical records to primary care providers as needed. Coordinate medical records process for continuation of care.</li><li>Willing to cross-train on back-office clinical skills in order to perform in a cross-functional role as needed.</li><li>Completes all mandatory compliance training and consistently follows processes and procedures to maintain compliance standards.</li><li>Maintains friendly, cordial relations with all clients and employees; maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that results in a positive work relationship with customers, co-workers and managers.</li><li>Performs the physical, use of senses, cognitive, and environmental functions of the position, as specified on the physical demands.</li><li>Responsible for folding towels, cleaning tables and helping patients with exercise equipment.</li><li>Welcome new employees on their first day in the clinic and facilitate introductions to team members, clinic tours, and an overview of the clinic processes.</li><li>Actively assist new employees with learning activities and completing required training.</li><li>Support new employee training by providing job shadowing, demonstration, and coaching opportunities.</li><li>Ability to comply with Company standards of operations.</li><li>Ability to adhere to the Core Values of the Company, of teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness.</li><li>The ability to promote and maintain a respectful culture of employee, employer, patients and business confidentiality.</li><li>Demonstrates proficiency with basic PC skills to include typing, utilization of a mouse, and ability to use basic software such as MS Outlook and Word.</li><li>Maintains the overall cleanliness of the office as needed to support the team and clinic environment, which may include, but not be limited to, taking out garbage, organization and cleanliness of desk, patient and office space and assistance with other team members to achieve a strong professional appearance for our employees, patients and visitors.</li><li>Responsible for keeping the reception area clean and organized.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by management.</li></ul> SECONDARY:Additional Requirements and responsibilities<ul><li>Level 1: High School Diploma or its equivalent with a current CPR license* and at least 1 year of customer experience, preferably urgent care</li><li>Level 2: High School Diploma or its equivalent with a current CPR license* and 3 years’ experience in billing and coding and intermediate computer skills, which include typing 70-100 words per minute, knowledge of Microsoft Office including, word and excel. Intermediate skills in excel including basic formulas and v lookup.</li><li>Level 3: High School Diploma or its equivalent with a current CPR license* and 3 years’ experience in billing and coding and intermediate computer skills, which include typing 70-100 words per minute, knowledge of Microsoft Office including, word and excel. Intermediate skills in excel including basic formulas and v lookup.</li><li>Administration duties, including but not limited to scheduling, ordering, training, and other duties assigned by Clinic and or Regional Director</li></ul>*Receive and active within 7 days of hire.

Experience Requirements and Preferences::
Education: High School Diploma or its equivalent AND Experience:<ul><li>1 Year of medical office experience with basic medical terminology and insurance knowledge preferred.</li><li>1 Year experience with basic use of PC to include using mouse, standard software such as MS Office to include Outlook and Word.</li></ul>
