Responsibilities: The Agency Closing Specialist will be responsible for all aspects of deal servicing, act as the primary point of contact for both internal and external clients, and will perform the following key functions: • Analyze Credit Documentation and extract the necessary information for deal capture and booking in Lending System • Coordinate and manage syndicated loan closings, including CP, funding coordination, lender allocations, and initial facility onboarding • Processing borrowing and payment requests, arrange for funding/break funding, set rates, and renew maturing loan contracts • Calculate and bill fees: commitment, unutilized, letter of credit, agency, and fronting fees • Set-up and maintain customer records including administrative details and payment instructions (including the collection of original tax forms) • Manage lifecycle events: amendments, waivers, extensions, repricings, lender assignments, rollovers, and restructurings • Review, interpret, and validate credit agreements, fee letters, amendments, joinders, and closing instructions • Lead and participate in closing calls with Borrowers, Lenders, Counsel, and internal stakeholders • Serve as the primary liaison with Borrowers, Lenders, and internal teams on all Agency matters • Monitor commitment limits and expiration dates • Monitor daily cash flow and investigate unidentified amounts in suspense account • Assist in training junior staff and contribute to process improvement initiatives • Assist Manager in any special projects as needed. Responsibilities include: • Timely handling of all Agency transactions • Daily workflow related to Loan Administration • Tasks such as issuance, advising, amending, reporting, billing, document checking, and payments • Capturing transactions on the Loan IQ Lending platform • Analyzing structured finance loan portfolios • Performing audits • Reconciling interest and fees • Reviewing commercial loan terms • Resolving discrepancies • Preparing spreadsheets • Recommending procedural changes when necessary.
