This position serves as the University's primary internal communications Subject Matter Expert (SME), leads internal communications planning and implementation, serves as editor of Stetson Today, the university's online news site, and is responsible for other communication channels, such as daily announcements to the DeLand campus community. Assign stories for Stetson Today to freelance writers and contractors, submit their invoices to purchasing, and track expenses, working in collaboration with the Assistant Vice President of Marketing Communications .
