Working in coordination with the Director of Website Applications Development & Administration Webmaster, this position helps align social media activity with university priorities related to student life, enrollment, engagement, and brand promotion, while also providing guidance and day-to-day direction to student workers and campus contributors involved in content creation and social media management. The Social Media Strategist and Content Creator, under general supervision, advances the awareness, visibility, engagement, and public voice of East Texas A&M University through strategic social media planning, content creation, and day-to-day management of the university’s primary social media channels.
