Job SummaryCompetitive Salary, DOQ + <a href="https://www.jamescitycountyva.gov/DocumentCenter/View/33850/Benefits-Information-Guide-Full-Time-PDF?bidId=" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Full-Time County Benefits</a> Performs responsible work planning and executing Olde Towne Medical and Dental Center’s marketing, communications, and event activities that strengthen the organization’s presence in the community and enhance outreach efforts to patients, staff, volunteers, donors, and supporting jurisdictional stakeholders.Responsibilities:• Develops, executes and maintains coordinated communications and marketing plan that supports OTMDC’s communication and marketing goals; builds and executes social media strategy through research, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification. • Organizes, oversees, and executes events and donor solicitations; identifies potential sponsors and donors, develops long-term relationships and commitments for ongoing support; presents opportunities for sponsorship and donations and secures funding commitments. • Oversees monthly e-newsletter, website content, news releases, presentation material, promotional and collateral material. • Develops and oversees a comprehensive electronic mailing list of patients, staff, donors, jurisdictional stakeholders and potential donors and friends. • Provides on-going outreach to patients, staff, volunteers, donors, jurisdictional stakeholders and the greater Williamsburg community. • Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications:• Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or related field: considerable experience in health care or non-profit with experience in digital communications and social media. • Must possess reliable transportation to work site(s). • Knowledge of standard office practices and procedures; principles and processes for providing customer service include setting and meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. • Knowledge of project management and use of business applications of multiple social medial platforms. • Skill in use of computer software, especially Microsoft Office Suite. • Ability to analyze and use judgement in accomplishing diversified duties, think independently within limits of polices, standards, and precedents. • Ability to exercise courtesy and tact as a member of a diverse team of employees and in citizen interactions; work under pressure and meet deadlines; effectively communicate complex ideas and proposals which may include preparation of reports and presentations; understand information and ideas presented both verbally and in writing. • Must possess, or be able to obtain within 30 days of hire, a valid Virginia driver’s license and have an acceptable driving record based on James City County’s criteria. Manages the real estate lending process for loan applicants, ensuring that interviews are conducted appropriately and that necessary financial information is on hand for efficient loan processing.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Reviews, analyzes and processes residential real estate loan requests and packages loans as necessary, in keeping with financial institution policies and procedures.</li><li>Recommends conditions and terms of residential real estate loans.</li><li>Provides input to management to streamline and improve residential loan service for the benefit of the customer and the financial institution.</li><li>Provides loan status reports on financial institution residential loan products to the Regional </li><li>Executive and presents report in Monthly Sales meetings.</li><li>Offers recommendations and actions to improve loan strategies when necessary </li><li>Interviews residential loan applicants. Ensures compliance with new rules by advising senior management and implementing appropriate changes.</li><li>Personally, answers incoming phone calls and schedules appointments.</li><li>Communicates complex approvals or denials to the borrower, real estate agent or builder.</li><li>Distributes market data, rate flyers and general loan information to the real estate community as directed by financial institution management.</li><li>Promotes and participates in the financial institution's special credit programs and other </li><li>CRA programs.</li><li>Actively participates in local business and community activities and maintains close contact with local builders, real estate brokers and agents, customers and prospects.</li><li>Reviews the delinquent loan status for the financial institution, contacting those delinquent account holders through telephone calls, letters and personal visits</li><li>Works with other departments within the financial institution regarding litigation and foreclosure activities.</li><li>Prepares reports on the type and status of delinquent accounts and collection activities undertaken by the financial institution, and rates the accounts according to the financial institution’s procedures.</li><li>Reviews payment lists, maintains departmental files and prepares paperwork on debits, credits and other payments</li><li>Understand your role as defined by the three lines of defense to maintain a compliance culture that includes risk management processes</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul>Minimum Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in business or finance or equivalent experience.</li><li>One to two years of experience in a financial institution or loan office setting.</li><li>Extensive knowledge of financial institution policies and procedures.</li><li>Extensive knowledge of residential real estate lending practices and related areas.</li><li>Good communication and public relations skills.</li><li>Good sales, organizational, managerial and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Good oral and written communication skills in order to effectively communicate with customers and real estate agents about the financial institution's loan programs and policies.</li><li>Ability to read and comprehend training materials, financial institution communications and related loan manuals.</li><li>Ability to learn and follow financial institution policies regarding the lending process.</li><li>Familiarity with basic office equipment. </li></ul>EOE- AA-Vets-Disabled
