Job Summary:The Community Marketing Representative II is responsible to support the enrollment and retention strategy in collaboration with management to ensure all membership goals are successfully achieved. Essential Functions:<ul><li>Utilize an educational approach to community organizations to promote any available lines of business in assigned regions </li><li>Serve as a subject matter expert on all lines of business available in the assigned territory </li><li>Contribute and support the development of educational and enrollment opportunities with community and government agencies, community housing, providers and health systems, community business associations, targeted industries and faith-based organizations </li><li>Assist in various types of community outreach strategies and programs with guidance to internal departments and staff while adhering to all applicable state and federal regulatory requirements </li><li>Collaborate cross functionally in the development of specific strategies for enhanced engagement including collaboration with other internal teams. </li><li>Conduct presentations, marketing activities and other informational events in accordance with current approved marketing guidelines and State/Federal regulations </li><li>Deliver educational staff presentations to targeted industries, community organizations and government agencies </li><li>Strictly adhere to all State and Federal Marketing regulations </li><li>Complete all required training to successfully satisfy all State and Federal requirements </li><li>Observe and report current market information on benefits, services, trends, changes, strategies/tactics, new products, etc. </li><li>Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; training, reviewing professional publications; participating in industry Continuing Education Courses </li><li>Cross trained in all lines of CareSource products and benefits </li><li>Provide proactive, high-level relationship management and support with key agencies in order to grow and retain membership. </li><li>Work within guidelines of sponsorship and promotional items budgets. </li><li>Keep management informed by documenting detailed sales activity and records of all agency/organization contacts in the Customer Relationship Management tool ("CRM") and weekly reports </li><li>Drive new membership acquisition by managing lead generation and direct marketing outreach during AEP (Annual Enrollment Period) </li><li>Effectively coordinate community activities with other internal teams to ensure achievement of desired results </li><li>Work within a territory plan to achieve desired membership and retention goals </li><li>When necessary, participate in the negotiation, development, and staff coordination of Community/Agency/Provider events </li><li>Regular travel to conduct to community-based organizations as needed to ensure effective administration of the program </li><li>Perform any other job duties as requested </li></ul>Education and Experience:<ul><li>Associate degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required </li><li>Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Sales, Marketing or Account Management or Community Outreach and/or Social Delivery is required </li><li>Medicare, Medicaid and/or Commercial Health Insurance experience is required </li></ul>Competencies, Knowledge and Skills:<ul><li>Proficient in Microsoft Suite, to include Word, PowerPoint, and Excel </li><li>Excellent computer skills and ability to effectively use CRM system </li><li>Knowledge of managed care principles, marketing guidelines and market dynamics </li><li>Maintain marketing regulatory knowledge for compliance to State and Federal regulatory insurance guidelines and requirements </li><li>Proven self-starter: able to work independently and within a team environment to achieve sales goals </li><li>Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail & excellent follow-up </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Strong presentation and negotiation skills </li><li>Excellent organizational, time management, and territory management skills </li><li>Ability to develop, prioritize and accomplish goals </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and high level of professionalism </li><li>Excellent research and analytical skills </li><li>Proven experience of selling new products to existing customers </li></ul>Licensure and Certification:<ul><li>Current, unrestricted State Insurance License in Accident and Health, as required within state(s) of assigned territory is/are required or ability to achieve license(s) within assigned territory regulatory requirements within 30 days of hire. </li><li>Applicable Certification as required within state(s) of assigned territory or ability to achieve certification(s) within 30 days of hire and annual recertification each year thereafter is required. For positions in states that operate under the Federally Facilitated Marketplace (FFM) and offer Marketplace plans, candidates must obtain certification from the Health Insurance Marketplace. </li><li>Current, unrestricted Driver's License in good standing is required. Employment in this position is conditional pending successful clearance of a driver's license record check. If the driver's license record results are unacceptable, the offer will be withdrawn or, if you have started employment in this position, your employment in this position will be terminated </li><li>To help protect our employees, members, and the communities we serve from acquiring communicable diseases, Influenza vaccination is a requirement of this position. CareSource requires annual proof of Influenza vaccination for designated positions during Influenza season (October 1 - March 31) as a condition of continued employment. Employees hired during Influenza season will have thirty (30) days from their hire date to complete the required vaccination and have record of immunization verified. </li><li>CareSource adheres to all federal, state, and local regulations. Will be exposed to weather conditions typical of the location and may be required to stand and/or sit for long periods of time. </li><li>Reside in the same territory they are assigned to work in; exceptions may be considered, due to business need </li><li>May be required to travel greater than 50% of time to perform work duties. A valid driver's license, car, and insurance are necessary for work related travel </li><li>Required to use general office equipment, such as a telephone, photocopier, fax machine, and personal computer </li><li>Flexible hours, including evenings and/or weekends as needed to serve the needs of our members and may refer members to other CareSource resources </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds </li></ul>Compensation Range: $49,050.00 - $78,570.00 CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate's education, training, and experience as well as the position's scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
