Help Lead Community Change Across Northeastern Pennsylvania! NeighborWorks Northeastern Pennsylvania (NWNEPA) is seeking a strategic, community-focused leader to serve as our next Director of Community Development.Reporting in to the CEO, this full-time role will lead the strategy, growth, and execution of community development initiatives that strengthen neighborhoods, build partnerships, and create measurable impact across Northeastern Pennsylvania. What You'll Do:<ul><li>Partner with community leaders to lead neighborhood revitalization and community development initiatives in Northeast PA</li><li>Build and manage strategic partnerships with municipalities, nonprofits, residents, and other key stakeholders</li><li>Oversee programs, projects, budgets, grants, and funding sources for each project</li><li>Oversee a small and dedicated team of community development professionals  and AmeriCorps members</li><li>Support community engagement, outreach, and organizational visibility</li><li>Help drive organizational strategy and long-term community impact</li><li>Serve as a thought-partner to the CEO </li><li>Some travel and occasional evening/weekend events required</li></ul>What We're Looking For in a candidate: <ul><li>5+ years of experience in community development, urban planning, public administration, or related field</li><li>At least 3 years of proven leadership and project management experience</li><li>Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills</li><li>Experience with grants, funding management, and community partnerships preferred</li><li>Excellent computer skills, including MS Office and Google platform</li><li>Highly organized with ability to manage competing demands</li><li>Bachelor's degree strongly preferred</li><li>Bilingual English/Spanish a plus</li><li>Possession of a valid's driver's license </li></ul> Why NWNEPA?This is an opportunity to lead meaningful work that directly improves neighborhoods and communities throughout the region, while joining a mission-driven organization committed to lasting impact.In exchange for your skills and expertise, we offer a collaborative and mission-focused culture, a competitive compensation and benefits package including generous paid time off, health, dental, and vision insurance, educational reimbursement, 401k plan with a company match, and flexible/hybrid scheduling options.No phone calls please and no recruiters.  We are an equal opportunity employer.  Only qualified candidates will be contacted.
