The position also involves providing support to the senior maintenance lead and assisting in area preventative maintenance. This position is Monday - Friday 4am - 12noon or 11:30am-7:30pm, depending on needs of the business. Some overtime may be required for shut downs or unexpected circumstances.During an 8 hour shift:<ul><li>Performs daily / weekly / monthly safety walkthrough and housekeeping inspections.</li><li>Displays active ownership of a portion of the site safety program & facilitates safety improvements.</li><li>Supports Safe Work Permitting practices to ensure the safety of all working in production areas.</li><li>Maintains order and cleanliness of production work areas.</li><li>The use of computer-based systems to generate production instructions, to report production and receive and ship materials.</li><li>Supports QC function by performing in process testing on products</li><li>The receipt and shipment of bulk raw materials and finished products including loading and unloading operations.</li><li>Packages finished products into totes and drums</li><li>Performs batch reconciliation for raw materials used to create a batch of finished product.</li><li>Uses fork lifts to bring materials to and take materials away from the production area</li></ul>Basic Qualifications:• High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 1 year of experience in a chemical/manufacturing/production environment• Willingness and ability to lift 50 lbs, walk up & down ladders and stairs and be mobile most of your shift• Must be willing to work either shift Monday - Friday 4am-12noon or 11:30am-7:30pm depending on business need<ul><li>Microsoft Office proficiency</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:• 3 years of chemical/batch production/manufacturing experience• SAP or other enterprise management system experience• Experience with the use of automated process systems i.e. DCS / PLCCompensation is commensurate with experienceYou should be proficient in:<ul><li>Forklift Licensed</li><li>Machine Setups for Production Runs</li><li>Manual Machining Skills</li><li>High School / GED</li><li>Experience in a Manufacturing Environment</li><li>Basic Computer Skills</li></ul>Machines & technologies you'll use:<ul><li>Forklifts</li></ul>
