We are a rapidly growing company with many growth opportunities.Role SummaryJoin Joval Manufacturing team as a Sheet Metal Assembler. This is an entry-level, hands-on role with on-the-job training. You will assemble prefabricated sheet metal components used in HVAC, plumbing, and roofing, support production flow, and help maintain quality and safety standards.Key Responsibilities<ul><li style="line-height:normal">Assemble prefabricated sheet metal components to meet production and quality standards.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Operate and maintain basic assembly tools and equipment; follow safety and lockout/tagout procedures.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Package and stage finished products for shipment according to company standards.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Complete production paperwork and digital logs accurately and on time.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Safely handle fiberglass insulation and other materials when required, using provided PPE.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Support teammates across the shop floor and assist with material movement and troubleshooting.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Suggest small process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce rework.</li></ul>Success Criteria<ul><li style="line-height:normal">Meets daily production and quality targets with minimal rework.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Demonstrates consistent safe work habits and proper use of PPE.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Communicates effectively with leads and teammates about issues and improvements.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Learns new tasks quickly and takes on additional responsibilities over time.</li></ul>Minimum QualificationsRequired<ul><li style="line-height:normal">Ability to safely lift and carry 50+ lbs repeatedly.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Comfortable standing for full shifts and performing repetitive physical tasks.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Reliable attendance and punctuality.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Willingness to work shifts and overtime as needed.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete simple paperwork.</li></ul>Preferred<ul><li style="line-height:normal">Prior experience in manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse environments.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Familiarity with hand tools and basic shop equipment.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Experience reading simple diagrams or infographics.</li></ul>Skills and Attributes<ul><li style="line-height:normal">Safety-first mindset and attention to detail.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Team player who communicates respectfully and helps others.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Growth orientation and eagerness to learn new skills.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Dependability and accountability.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Practical problem-solving and willingness to raise issues constructively.</li></ul>Physical Demands and Work Environment<ul><li style="line-height:normal">Frequent lifting, bending, stooping, walking, and manual handling of materials.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Use of hand tools and light machinery; training provided.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Work primarily in a semi-open-air warehouse; temperatures vary seasonally with mitigation measures in place.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Some tasks involve handling fiberglass insulation; PPE and training provided.</li></ul>Compensation and Benefits<ul><li style="line-height:normal">Competitive hourly pay </li><li style="line-height:normal">Health benefits: medical, dental, vision.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Retirement savings plan with company match.</li><li style="line-height:normal">PTO/ Vacation accrual.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Overtime pay in accordance with federal and state law.</li></ul>Inclusion and SafetyJoval Manufacturing Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
