This shall include complex Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved MDE to include but not limited to integrated/networked systems and related electronics and automation/networking that requires integrating this equipment; examples include magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography scanners, radiographic-fluoroscopic x-ray systems, ultrasound scanners, surgical and dermatological lasers, physiological monitoring systems, proprietary local area networks, input and output computers, computed radiography (digital imagery), tele-maintenance, tele-radiography, and telemedicine. Duties include all items listed under BMET II , to include additionally: Possesses and applies basic and advanced knowledge for MDE and IT in two (2) or more of the following modalities: Healthcare Imaging (Radiology), Laboratory, Sterilization, Patient Monitoring, Operating Room Services, Dental, Pharmacy, Respiratory Services, Scopes, Pulmonary, Anesthesia, Veterinary, and High-End Electronics, Information Technology (IT), Networks, RMF, RFID, ATO, Servers, and Systems.
