You do not need to be an engineer, but you must be able to reason credibly about connectors, APIs, data models, database design, data lakes, reliability, enterprise data requirements, and data privacy/security. We expect PMs to stay close to customers, synthesize context for the team, sprint ahead on ambiguous work with lightweight specs and mockups, and increase the team's speed of learning.
