The company is recognized for its engineering-driven approach, long-term client relationships, and commitment to developing top-tier technical talent.</p><p><strong>About the Position</strong></p><p>The company is seeking an experienced General Superintendent to provide senior-level field leadership on major Heavy Industrial and Heavy Civil projects. This role will oversee large, multi-discipline construction operations, manage sizable craft workforces, and partner closely with project management to drive schedule, safety, quality, and productivity.</p><p>The General Superintendent will play a critical role in planning, execution, and workforce leadership on high-profile projects, including large vertical structures, sump areas, and data center–related construction.</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Experience:</li><li><ul><li>10+ years of experience as a Superintendent, with demonstrated success on large, complex construction projects</li><li>Heavy Industrial construction experience required</li></ul></li><li>Technical & Project Experience:</li><li><ul><li>Large vertical construction and “table top” work</li><li>Large sump area construction</li><li>Data center construction experience, including duct bank installation</li><li>Experience managing large crews (hundreds of craft professionals)</li><li>Commercial construction experience is a plus</li><li>Willingness and ability to travel or work project-based assignments, per diem provided</li></ul></li><li>Leadership & Skills:</li><li><ul><li>Proven ability to lead and coordinate multiple superintendents and field teams</li><li>Strong knowledge of construction means and methods</li><li>Excellent safety leadership and planning capabilities</li><li>Willingness and ability to travel or work project-based assignments</li></ul></li></ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>Base Salary: $125,000 – $150,000 (commensurate with experience)</li><li>Bonus: Eligible for performance-based bonuses with a strong incentive structure</li><li>Vehicle Allowance: $850 – $950 per month</li><li>Retirement: 401(k) plan</li><li>Health Insurance: Medical, dental, and vision coverage (BCBS); MetLife dental and vision</li><li>Time Off: 4 weeks of vacation</li><li>Additional benefits consistent with a senior leadership role</li></ul>

I am greatly impressed by punctuality, innovation, creativity, organization, communication, and consistency – these are areas that are necessary to excel in this position.<br/><br/></div><div><strong>Customer Relations (and relations while on Customers’ Job Sites)<br/></strong><br/></div><ul><li>Communication with field inspectors, Customer Agents, City Staff / Regulatory Agency Representatives, Locate Crews, Public and Private Utility Coordinators / Locators, General Public and Residents</li><li>Always escalate field issues up and report to the construction manager Project Manager</li></ul><div><br/><strong>In-Field OSP Activities – Construction Management<br/></strong><br/></div><ul><li>As a Superintendent 95% or more of the Superintendent role takes place in the field. The Superintendent will be provided with a workspace at one of our offices, but the expectation is that the Superintendent will be in the field overseeing the Superintendent project(s) as an extension of the construction manager Project Manager (PM)</li><li>Carry out and build in accordance with the schedule, as provided to the construction manager by the construction manager Project Manager (PM)</li><li>Submission of Construction Daily (hereinafter “Daily”) with all supporting documentation for each project, each day via paper or QuickBase (whichever method is specified by the construction manager PM). Includes collection and processing of daily submittals from crew foremen, PCM (Project Construction Manager), and subcontractors</li><li>Arranging for signage, door tags, white lining for locates, and all other project preparation activities as dictated by PM</li><li>Submission of utility locates and/or other construction sequencing data such as for daily street sheets, etc.</li><li>Submission for all traffic control requests</li><li>Submission for coordination of materials needed for build, including all consumables, including flowable fill; submission of purchase order / check requests as needed (up to allowance amount for spending thresholds)</li><li>Preparation, organization, and submission of all project-related submittals at PM request or PM’s discretion</li><li>Coordination, creation, and collection of daily field Job Site Analysis forms – and submission</li><li>Management of crew health and safety on job site everyday, all day</li><li>Carry out and enforce company policies and procedures on job sites for personnel management, field safety, Customer policies and standards, local regulatory standards, etc.</li><li>Adhere to production expectations as laid out by upper management and meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals and benchmarks</li><li>Regularly inspect field equipment, trucks, trailers, etc. and notify PM of immediate concerns, needs, risks, etc. Lock out / Tag Out any asset that poses a potential health and safety threat to any person or property.</li><li>Coordinate with HSE Personnel immediately and closely for all incidents and follow all Company, Customer, and Regulatory Agency Protocols</li><li>Ensure compliance with B Comm team’s direction to close out inspection gigs, resident complaints and trouble tickets, internal deficiencies, etc. within a timely manner.</li></ul><div><br/><strong>EEO Statement:<br/></strong><br/></div><div>We are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.<br/><br/></div><div><strong>Third Party Agency Notice:<br/></strong><br/></div><div>Primoris will not accept any unsolicited resumes from any third-party recruiting agencies either domestic or international.
