We are hiring full-time Construction Laborers / Equipment Operators to support our industry-leading rumble strip installation crews across the United States. Why Work with Us?<ul><li>Exciting Travel – 100% nationwide travel, exploring new cities and states.</li><li>Comprehensive Benefits – Health, dental, and vision coverage starting the 1st of the month after 30 days., paid time off, life insurance, and more.</li><li>Paid Perks – Single occupancy hotel accommodations provided and $50/day per diem when working out of town.</li><li>Competitive Pay – Weekly pay with potential for a year-end bonus.</li><li>Make a Real Impact – Join a company at the forefront of road safety, reducing traffic fatalities.</li><li>Training & Growth – We invest in your development with on-the-job training and opportunities for career advancement.</li></ul> KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Transport trucks and heavy machinery across state lines</li><li>Operate rumble strip and other related equipment.</li><li>Perform vehicle and equipment maintenance inspections, ensuring safety and optimal performance.</li><li>Communicate effectively with your team to ensure smooth daily operations.</li><li>Work independently with minimal supervision once trained.</li><li>Occasionally interact with inspectors, engineers, and DOT personnel.</li><li>Prioritize safety by adhering to job-specific protocols and wearing necessary PPE.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul> PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: <ul><li>Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with appropriate assistance/equipment.</li><li>Requires one to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and reach with hands and arms. Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time on pavement.</li><li>Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, moving equipment and machinery parts, moving traffic, fumes, and airborne particles.</li></ul> QUALIFICATIONS/PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: <ul><li>Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License REQUIRED.</li><li>Proven mechanical troubleshooting skills and ability to maintain equipment.</li><li>Knowledge of safety practices related to heavy equipment operation.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to read a tape measure.</li><li>Familiarity with hand and power tools.</li><li>Willingness to travel extensively across the U.S. with overnight stays.</li><li>Must take the initiative to build work relationships with your team and external customers.</li><li>Must conduct yourself in a manner promoting a professional atmosphere by being a team player, self-motivated, organized and having a positive attitude.</li><li>Must have good oral and/or written English communication skills with co-workers, customers, contractors, and engineers.</li></ul> SPT offers competitive benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401k match, paid time off/holidays, and more! SPT is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The background check company, Continental Screening Services, will prepare the background report for the Company. The background report may contain information concerning your character, general reputation, personal characteristics, mode of living, criminal history, and credit standing. An "investigative consumer report" is a background report that includes information from personal interviews. Information may be obtained from private and public sources and for investigative consumer reports from personal interviews as noted above. The Company may require you to complete a drug screening test and/or physical on you in connection with your employment application. Continental Screening Services will supply drug screening and physical reports to the Company. You may request more information about the nature and scope of an investigative consumer report, if any, by contacting the Company.
