This role is primarily focused on providing construction-phase civil engineering support and coordination for earthwork and site development projects, serving as a technical liaison between contractors, engineers of record, and the development team to facilitate compliant, constructible, and efficient project execution. If you're a problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys tackling diverse projects, and can adapt to evolving challenges, this role is for you!Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Provide engineering oversight of earthwork, grading, excavation, and site/civil infrastructure activities to ensure compliance with approved plans and permits.</li><li>Review, evaluate, and coordinate field changes, including permit updates, design clarifications, and engineering responses to unforeseen site conditions.</li><li>Serve as a technical liaison between field teams, office engineers, designers, and subcontractor engineers to develop compliant and practical solutions.</li><li>Respond to construction-related issues by analyzing constraints, collaborating on solutions, and confirming approvals with engineers of record and internal teams.</li><li>Coordinate with general contractors, superintendents, development managers, field project managers, inspectors, local officials, and end-user engineers.</li><li>Verify construction progress and review pay applications for accuracy and compliance with approved quantities and scope.</li><li>Ensure adherence to regulatory, environmental, and geotechnical requirements, including stormwater management, soil testing, and site stability considerations.</li><li>Oversee and mentor junior field staff as needed.</li><li>Maintain clear documentation of field issues, resolutions, and coordination efforts.</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul>PATHWAYS FOR GROWTHAt LIVIC, we offer a unique opportunity to turn the skills and connections you've worked so hard to build into something extraordinary.
