Responsibilities As a Snap-on Sales Solutioneer you will: <ul><li>Promote and sell Snap-on branded and non-branded product to the Military & Defense and Government markets. </li><li>Develop sales plan to achieve sales goal established for assigned territory by utilizing product mix, proper discount, and related contract pricing.</li><li>Maintain a regular call schedule for existing customers and prospect for new customers within the assigned account structure.</li><li>Provide exceptional service and solutioneering strategies to assigned customers by leveraging strong planning and organizational skills.</li><li>Work closely with customers to understand their business needs, and leverage the broad range of Snap-on product offerings to develop solutions unique to their situation.</li><li>Present solutions on the shop floor or in the field, to decision makers at all levels of the organization.</li><li>Prepare and deliver presentations on topics including current product knowledge and application, safety and ergonomics and operational effectiveness.</li><li>Leverage customer contact database in order to further penetrate existing accounts and expand market share.</li><li>Review customer activities at least quarterly with sales management and strategize ways to maximize sales volume and grow territory.</li><li>Analyze territory accounts, contracts and develops strategies for growth and profitability.</li><li>Explicitly follow the conditions of the Federal Acquisitions Regulations in all efforts with military and government installations.</li><li>Perform all other duties as assigned by management.</li></ul> Qualifications <ul><li>Minimum 3-5 years of outside sales experience or prior military experience required</li><li>Military background in repair of aircraft, ships or special purpose vehicles preferred</li><li>Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred</li><li>Thorough understanding of the Federal Government's supply and procurement systems</li><li>Executive selling and negotiation skills with the ability to penetrate layers of government facilities to reach key decision makers</li><li>Strong organizational and sales skills with a keen sense of urgency and awareness to customer requirements</li><li>Impeccable personal presentation with excellent verbal & written communication skills</li><li>Technical aptitude and critical thinking capabilities required in order to assist customers with specific application requirements</li><li>Knowledge of Snap-on products, services, conditions of sale and warranty policy is a plus</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office suite products including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word</li><li>Must hold a valid driver's license with an impeccable driving record</li><li>Must hold all credentials or meet all requirements for assigned customer accounts.</li><li>Travel up to 80%, some overnight</li><li>Physical requirements apply; see attached for details</li></ul> Join the industry leader!
