The successful candidate will have the ability to develop and sustain long-term relationships with general contractors, architects, designers, owners, end users, and internal team members. Bonitz has divisions in SC, NC, GA, TN, VA, LA, and FL.    Position Essential Duties:<ul><li>Build and maintain long-term relationships with General Contractors, Architects, Designers, and Owners across the commercial construction market.</li><li>Represent Bonitz's full flooring portfolio — carpet, resilient, hard tile, LVT, polished concrete, terrazzo, coatings, and access flooring — with confidence and product fluency.</li><li>Excels at working independently as well as part of a core team</li><li>Has the ability to work on multiple projects at one time from start to finish</li><li>Takes ownership of projects from first contact through completion, and communicate throughout to internal team members and leaders</li><li>Provides detailed and accurate work throughout the process</li><li>Works in an office environment, as well as in the field including on job sites.</li><li>Possess general business acumen including developing and working an individual business, sales and marketing plan, and being able to read P&L Statements.</li><li>Ability to develop a strategy for large opportunities  </li><li>Be able to offer solutions to meet the customers’ needs including budget requirements.</li></ul> Job Responsibilities:Pre-Construction<ul><li>Build relationships with potential clients and vendors through networking events</li><li>Gather all the information for a project, this includes initial meeting with end user, possible site visit, acquiring all documents including CAD drawings (Floorplans)</li><li>Work closely with estimator providing documents, floor plans, etc. </li><li>Understand the scope of work, partner with the Specialty team if needed </li><li>Qualify the opportunity. Review AP (Payapp)</li><li> Meet with Project Specialist to determine what documentation are needed for the project (ex. Using Procore, additional paperwork)</li><li>Work on contract with Project Specialist and on submittals for architect for approval</li><li>Gather prices from vendors and work with Project Manager on labor costs</li><li>Certain projects require access levels like badging, elevator access, safety requirements, site conditions that may affect the install like moisture testing.</li><li>Assist in coordinating Project Manager meetings with end-user/General Contractor </li><li>Work with Project Specialist on ordering and ensuring materials will arrive on time</li><li>Meet with internal team weekly basis</li><li>Coordinate delivery of material with Warehouse Manager</li><li>Construction</li><li>Acting as a support system for Project Manager</li><li>Send change order to end-user/GC for approval and work with Project Specialist to get them documented</li></ul>Post-Construction<ul><li>Ensure Project Specialist gives out close-out documents to end-user ie. Send cleaning instructions, warranty information, safety data sheets</li><li>Ensure punch list items are taken care of</li><li>Follow up with end-user/GC to ensure customer satisfaction</li><li>End of project meetings with team, takeaways like what did right/wrong</li></ul> Education/Experience and Ideal Candidate Qualifications:<ul><li>3+ years in commercial flooring sales or a related specialty trade sales role.</li><li> Familiarity with commercial flooring categories like resilient, carpet, hard surface, coatings, or specialty systems is a strong differentiator.</li><li>Drive new business and build relationships with general contractors, architects, designers, owners, end users, and internal team members</li><li>3+ years of sales experience preferred. Education may be considered as a substitute.</li><li>Experience in the construction or like industry is preferred. </li><li>Willingness to evolve</li><li>Professional appearance and disposition</li><li>Ability to work with initiative and independence, as well as team environment.</li><li>Ability to work with people regardless of race, gender, religion, ancestry, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, marital status, veteran status, medical condition or job type.</li><li>Ability to take care of customer needs while following company procedures.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Office 365 preferred </li></ul>Safety Requirements:<ul><li>Ensure that all safety training and certifications are up to date or scheduled.</li><li>Stay compliant with all Bonitz safety polices to ensure a safe and efficient workplace. </li><li>Must be committed to working safely while accomplishing all tasks.</li><li>Up to date knowledge of requirements for necessary equipment and training per job.</li></ul>

Bonitz has divisions in SC, NC, GA, TN, VA, LA, and FL.    Position Essential Duties:<ul><li>Communicate at a high level with Bonitz team, Bonitz customers, vendors and any members of the project team</li><li>Acts as single point of contact and holds responsibility for all aspects of installation projects, from inception to final close-out and invoicing.</li><li>Plans, coordinates, and oversees all tasks, critical dates, client and third-party interface and relations, as well as performance quality and customer satisfaction.</li><li>Manages General Contractor (GC) relationships, attends construction meetings, and coordinates with GC to maintain project schedule.</li><li>Ability to plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of the specific project you are working on. </li><li>Oversee field operations (manpower and installations) to guarantee the work is done per plans, project specifications, manufacturers standards, and completion schedule.</li><li>Prepares and issues Installers work orders.</li><li>Recognize and mitigate all potential safety concerns on all active jobsites. </li><li>Manage all continuing education and training requirements such as job specific, industry specific, and safety specific.</li><li>Meets and exceeds all safety requirements.</li><li>Manages, evaluates and coordinates payment Tiered-Subcontractors Pay, Schedules and Contracts. </li><li>Manages the completion of Punch-list and issuance of the warranty and maintenance files to the GC.</li><li>Ensure the appropriate profitability of each project.</li><li>Coordinate multiple installation crews and maintain job schedules.</li><li>Verify quality of installation, work performance, and work order completion.</li></ul> Job Responsibilities:Pre-Construction<ul><li>Work with Project Consultant and Estimator to assess the suitability of various sites for contracting work.</li><li>Lead the scope review for projects: vet the project by reviewing construction plans, reviewing safety/risks of projects, collecting labor rates, determining materials, and determining job timeline.</li><li>Contract review – Understand expectations and understand the process of change orders, termination of contract, and contractual exclusions.</li><li>Establishes and maintains schedule of multiple installation crews and projects.</li><li>Communicate purchasing needs to Project Specialist and Warehouse and schedule deliveries with assistance of Project Specialist </li><li>Negotiate with potential subcontractors to perform on projects – Schedule and Pay </li></ul>Construction<ul><li>Manages General Contractor (GC) relationships, attends construction meetings, and coordinates with GC to maintain project schedule and ensures ongoing compliance with the construction contract.</li><li>Manages all ongoing site visits to identify issues and ensure documentation of substrate condition, HVAC status, RH, PH, etc. </li><li>Assist in the mobilization of jobs and the removal of materials on jobsites. </li><li>Oversee field operations (manpower and installations) to guarantee the work is done per plans, project specifications and completion schedule.</li><li>Manage installation methods and material usage to ensure jobs are installed per plans, specifications, and estimate sheets.</li><li>Prepares and issues Installers work orders. </li><li>Ensure the appropriate profitability of each project.</li><li>Preform all required safety inspections </li><li>Document and perform all change orders for your projects.  </li><li>Regularly meet with team members internally to update them on current status of project. </li></ul>Post-Construction<ul><li>Manages the completion of Punch-list and issuance of the warranty and maintenance files to the General Contractor  </li><li>Analyze design, construction, and cost trends on completed projects to identify potential areas of improvement and savings and ensure integration into future pre-construction processes</li></ul>Travel<ul><li>Travel to various project sites required. A monthly car allowance will be provided as a company benefit. As well as a company gas card.</li><li>Potential overnight stays for projects may be required based on the travel distance and time spent on site.</li></ul> Education/Experience and Ideal Candidate Qualifications:<ul><li>3+ years’ experience in general contracting, construction management, or construction administration preferred. </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Strong creative and critical thinker. Self-Starter.</li><li>Strong time management and organization skills</li><li>Strong relevant computer skills, including proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point</li><li>Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.</li><li>Must be able to comply with the Sexual Harassment policy. </li><li>Must be able to pass a background, drug, and motor vehicle check.</li></ul>  Safety Requirements:<ul><li>Safety Inspection(s) on all jobsite </li><li>Lead Toolbox Talks with crews onsite. </li><li>Ensure that all safety training and certifications are up to date or scheduled.</li><li>Stay compliant with all Bonitz safety polices to ensure a safe and efficient workplace. </li><li>Must be committed to working safely while accomplishing all tasks.</li><li>Up to date knowledge of requirements for necessary equipment and training per job.</li></ul>
