Key Responsibilities • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction activities to support project schedules and budgets • Design, review, and implement temporary works and construction means and methods with a strong emphasis on safety • Inspect installed work, equipment, and materials; identify issues and coordinate corrective actions as needed • Provide on-site direction and technical support to foremen, crews, and subcontractors • Monitor project progress and prepare accurate daily reports, quantities, and documentation • Perform quality control inspections to ensure work complies with contract documents, plans, and specifications • Verify materials and workmanship meet project requirements and approved submittals • Enforce safety policies, OSHA regulations, and proper use of PPE on the job site • Support project cost tracking, schedule updates, and coordination with project stakeholders • Assist with communication between the field, project management, owners, and inspectors. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related engineering discipline • Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Project Engineer, Field Engineer, or similar role in heavy civil or highway construction • Strong understanding of construction methods, equipment, and materials used in civil infrastructure projects • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and job-site safety practices • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities • Ability to work extended hours, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and occasional holidays, as required to meet project schedules.
