The Safety Manager will oversee site safety activities while construction is ongoing alongside live operations, requiring strong coordination and hazard awareness.</div><br/><div>The position focuses on maintaining compliance with OSHA standards, enforcing site-specific safety plans, and ensuring subcontractor adherence to safety protocols. The environment is fast-paced and demands a proactive, visible safety presence.</div><br/><div>The Safety Manager will work closely with project leadership to identify risks, implement corrective actions, and maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on site.</div><hr/><div><strong>Qualifications</strong></div><div><br/> 4-year degree in Safety, Construction Management, or related field <strong>OR</strong><br/> BCSP certification <strong>OR</strong><br/> OSHA 500 certification with 6+ years of relevant experience</div><hr/><div><strong>Additional Requirements</strong></div><div><br/> Ability to work extended hours and weekends<br/> Experience working in active or operational facilities<br/> Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations<br/> Ability to enforce safety standards across multiple trades</div><hr/><div><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></div><ul><li>Enforce site-specific safety plans and OSHA compliance</li><li>Conduct daily safety inspections and audits</li><li>Lead toolbox talks and safety orientations</li><li>Monitor subcontractor safety performance</li><li>Investigate incidents and near-misses</li><li>Coordinate corrective actions with project leadership</li><li>Maintain accurate safety documentation and reports</li></ul><hr/><div><strong>Skills</strong></div><div><br/>Construction safety management, OSHA compliance, hazard recognition, incident investigation, subcontractor oversight, communication, documentation</div><hr/><div><strong>Knowledge Base</strong></div><div><br/>Extensive knowledge of construction safety practices, OSHA regulations, and jobsite risk management within active facilities.
