Qualifications: Here is what youll need: Bachelor\'s of Science Degree in Electrical or Renewable Energy Engineering from an accredited university Current Professional Engineer (PE) licensure with ability to obtain in State of Idaho. At least 12 years of experience in engineering design of building electrical systems Strong working knowledge of NEC (NFPA 70), voltage drop, arc flash, short-circuit, and load flow calculations. Experience with electrical equipment specification, vendor submittal reviews, and field coordination. Ability to perform site punch walks and work effectively within construction environments Ideally, youll also have: Semiconductor and/or mission-critical/data center design experience. Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and thrive in a dynamic environment. As a mechanical representative on a multi-discipline design team, you will work directly with other Jacobs design staff, client equipment owners, stake holders, and equipment manufacturers of next generation and prototype tools to build utility requirement documents to allow the development of installation design packages. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor\'s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from ABET Accredited University Three (3) years of practical application of mechanical facilities engineering, including HVAC, hydronics, process piping, exhaust, plumbing, and related mechanical facilities systems Engineer in Training (EIT) actively pursuing Professional Engineer (PE) License Ideal candidate will also possess: Two (2) years of experience working with complex semiconductor manufacturing tools either their manufacture, installation, or use in cleanrooms Proficient working knowledge of AutoCAD and Navisworks software Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Forward-thinking, eager to learn best practices and contribute with innovative ideas Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-discipline design teams Passion for buildings and construction One (1) year field experience in an industrial facility Other Requirements: Location: This is an on-site position requiring work to be performed on the client site in Boise, ID.
