This includes responsibility for the timely and accurate filing of necessary records to demonstrate compliance with applicable federal, state, and company programs such as sustainability.</li><li>Develop and execute management systems designed to ensure the plant is in compliance with all company and governmental regulations.   </li><li>Ensure all on-site waste materials are managed according to government regulations. </li><li>Maintain all records and documents as necessary.</li><li>Manage and deliver EHS compliance training.</li><li>Manage and/or perform hands-on monitoring and measurement.</li><li>Evaluate and manage waste streams to determine ways to minimize or eliminate waste. </li><li>Oversee the contractor management of the wastewater treatment and discharge program.</li></ul></div></div>

This role is an onsite position. Overview: Assists in coordination of the company's overall Environmental Plan with specific responsibility for environmental quality standards. Assists Environmental Supervisor in developing specific environmental programs to comply with applicable regulatory requirements. Develops site specific environmental programs to comply with applicable regulatory requirements as needed. Coordinates with state officials in the development and execution of related permits. Other duties as assigned to meet mission and contract/customer requirements. Responsibilities: • Be a member of a team of professional Environmental Program Managers and Environmental Technicians performing essential support services for Sheppard Air Force Base. • Supports the Environmental Team in the development and monitoring of all Sheppard AFB environmental programs to comply with Federal, State, local and military requirements. Act as liaison with representatives of Base Safety, Fire Department, OSHA, and other government organizations. • Responsible for coordinating state permits and registration tasks. Monitors trends to identify environmental issues, problems, or hazard areas, and recommend corrective action to the Environmental Supervisor. • Supports the management of related environmental plans, data bases, and activities • Will participate in and attend various environmental working groups. Will be required to chair various environmental working groups, as needed. • Participates in quarterly/bi-annual meetings in support of the P2/Compliance Subcommittee, Cross Functional Team (CFT) and the Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Council (ESOHC). • Supports all environmental training requirements in accordance with local, Federal, State, and Air Force regulations and contractual requirements. • Supports the environmental team in the management of the Pollution Prevention (P2) program. • Supports the environmental team in the management of hazardous waste and solid waste (i.e. fluorescent light bulbs, batteries) and aid in preparing these waste products for shipment.
