Onsite Project Manager – Data Center BuildoutsLocation: Chicago, IL Duration: 6+ Month Contract Rate: $65–$72/hour (higher for candidates with strong union coordination experience)We are seeking experienced Onsite Project Managers to lead large-scale data center build and deployment initiatives in Chicago. This role is ideal for a hands-on infrastructure PM with deep experience coordinating complex facility, construction, and technology deployments in mission-critical environments.The Project Manager will serve as the central onsite lead responsible for driving execution across all vendors, contractors, facilities teams, and technical stakeholders involved in the data center build lifecycle. This includes coordinating logistics and dependencies between cabling vendors, rack-and-roll teams, cooling and mechanical providers, facilities partners, electrical contractors, low-voltage installers, and other infrastructure groups.The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, can proactively resolve onsite issues, and has a strong understanding of how power, cooling, networking, and physical infrastructure must align for successful deployment and commissioning.For the Chicago location, experience working in union environments is highly preferred.
