As a Field Inspector covering Atlantic County, you will perform residential occupancy verifications. These are brief, exterior visits to confirm property status and report on general conditions.</p><ul><li><strong>Autonomy:</strong> You manage your own routing, schedule, and territory.</li><li><strong>Efficiency:</strong> Standard inspections are designed for speed, typically requiring only 5–6 minutes on-site.</li><li><strong>Consistency:</strong> Enjoy stable, month-to-month volume in your assigned county.</li></ul><h3>Workflow & Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Determine property occupancy status based on industry-standard indicators.</li><li>Capture 9+ photos and submit brief reports using industry-standard mobile applications.</li><li>Maintain a high level of reliability regarding territory coverage and deadlines.</li></ul><p><em>Note: This role requires spending extended periods of time driving and making numerous stops throughout the day in your assigned territory. This territory covers a dense metro area where familiarity with city driving, parking, and navigating multi-unit properties is helpful.</em></p><h3>Requirements</h3><p>As an independent contractor, you are responsible for providing your own equipment, including:</p><ul><li>Reliable, fuel-efficient vehicle.</li><li>Smartphone (Android or iPhone) capable of running mobile reporting apps.</li><li>Computer with an internet connection and a printer.</li><li>Strong time-management skills to meet deadlines without direct supervision.</li><li>Ability to pass a standard background check.</li></ul><h3>Earnings & Volume</h3><ul><li><strong>Flat-Rate Pay:</strong> This is a 1099 position where you are paid a set fee for every inspection completed.</li><li><strong>Earning Potential:</strong> While pay is per-inspection, efficient contractors typically earn the equivalent of $25–$35 per hour.</li><li><strong>Volume:</strong> Rates and inspection volume vary by county. Job Title: Network Planning Engineer<br/>
Job Location: Atlantic City, NJ<br/><br/>
Seeking a talented Network Planning Engineer specializing in network transport and security to support the test, development, deployment, and on-going support of a nationwide, mission-critical communication system. You will be working to help support the global aviation community with advanced systems and services that significantly increase the safety, security, and capacity of global air traffic management systems to meet the growing demand of air transportation operations. This position is located at the FAA William J Hughes Technical Center in Atlantic City, NJ.<br/><br/><br/>
Essential Functions:<br/>
•Act as engineering support to network engineering operations for the testing and configuration of new information systems and services.<br/>
•Make configuration changes, code upgrades and troubleshoot issues related to networking devices and transport topologies.<br/>
•Explain complex issues, data flows, and packet analysis to the customer in a way they can understand.<br/><br/>
Qualifications:<br/>
•Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field minimum six (6) years of prior relevant experience. Otherwise, Graduate Degree and a minimum of four (4) years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree minimum of ten (10) years prior related experience.<br/>
•Relevant network engineering experience, including system test, deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting in a global enterprise environment.<br/>
•Experience integrating large complex multi-vendor solutions.<br/>
•Ability to obtain and maintain an FAA public trust clearance.<br/>
•Experience and strong demonstrated working knowledge of the OSI model and TCP/IP-based networking architectures and communications.<br/>
•Demonstrated ability to use packet capture utilities to understand TCP data flows and troubleshoot and resolve TCP/IP network transport issues.<br/>
•Hands-on experience working with network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and servers<br/><br/>
Preferred Technical Skills & Experience:<br/>
•Experience engineering and supporting IP routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, BGP.<br/>
•Experience configuring and supporting network transport devices from Cisco and Juniper.<br/>
•Very strong TCP/IP networking and subnetting experience.<br/>
•Ability to understand and explain the interplay between software and the network transport.<br/>
•Advanced certifications such as CCNP, JunOS<br/>
•Experience serving government customers in a network engineering environment a plus.<br/>
•Experience in FAA National Airspace System (NAS) telecommunications or air traffic management a plus<br/>
•Outstanding people and interpersonal skills. Capable of working well with internal & external customers.<br/>
•Strong listening, written and oral communication skills.<br/>
