Overview:
Concentra, one of the largest health care companies in the nation, is looking for an orthopedic surgeon to come on site to our location as a 1099 independent contractor. This role is a contract position and is meant to compliment your current practice. A typical partnership will involve treating patients on site at Concentra for approximately a 4-hour shift on a weekly or biweekly basis.  Concentra Advanced Specialists assist in the management of medically complex patients, expedite return to work and functional restoration. Working collaboratively with medical and therapy providers, you will provide specialist services, both non-surgical and surgical, for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work related injuries. In addition, you will communicate with employers and take an active role in the case management. The treatments you provide will make a tremendous difference in the lives of those who look to us for care and comfort.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Half a day per week or biweekly</li><li>Flexible scheduling with consideration of your private practice </li></ul> This position is an independent contractor role for Concentra. Compensation for services is determined by a revenue share model.

Qualifications:
<ul><li>Preferred experience in treating patients with work related injuries</li><li>Licensure requirements of the state of practice</li><li>Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university</li><li>Unrestricted DEA license for state of jurisdiction</li><li>Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery</li><li>Must have Medical Malpractice Insurance which will cover you while on site</li></ul>

These projects include next-generation facilities designed forAI and cloud infrastructure, featuring advanced cooling systems, high-density computing environments, and sustainable construction methods such as low-carbon materials and innovative structural solutions.You will oversee cost planning and control from concept through final account, workingclosely with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver high-value outcomes. This role requires strong expertise in estimating, procurement, and financial management, with proven ability to manage complex budgets for multi-building campuses.Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead cost management across all project phases, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and schedule.</li><li>Develop and maintain detailed cost plans and estimates, leveraging industry benchmarks and technical documentation.</li><li>Produce and present monthly cost reports, executive summaries, and financial updates to stakeholders.</li><li>Manage change control processes, including review and negotiation of change orders and post-contract cost variances.</li><li>Oversee contractor and subcontractor pricing reviews, scope validation, and procurement strategy development.</li><li>Collaborate with design teams, general contractors, and vendors to validate cost estimates and perform quantity surveying.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement in cost management practices, supporting standardization and best-in-class delivery.</li><li>Support cost risk analysis and scenario planning for multi-phase programs.</li><li>Monitor market trends and provide insights on escalation, labor availability, and material pricing.</li><li>Develop strategies for cost optimization and value engineering.</li><li>Coordinate with scheduling teams to align cost forecasts with project timelines.</li><li>Track and report on cash flow forecasts and commitments to ensure financial accuracy.</li><li>Review and validate invoices against contract terms and approved budgets.</li><li>Maintain accurate cost databases and benchmarking information for future projects.</li><li>Mentor junior team members and contribute to a high-performance, collaborative team culture.</li><li>Ensure compliance with internal financial systems, regulatory requirements, and SOX controls where applicable.</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and project teams to support successful project delivery.</li><li>SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.</li></ul>Qualifications: Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>Well-rounded experience in cost management or project controls within large-scale, mission-critical environments (e.g., data centers, high-tech, industrial).</li><li>Proven track record in construction consultancy is preferred.</li><li>Strong background in budgeting, financial reporting, cost control systems, and Earned Value Management (EVM).</li><li>Expertise in procurement strategies and commercial management of contractor/vendor contracts.</li><li>RICS accreditation or progress toward certification is advantageous.</li><li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.</li><li>Proficiency in industry-standard cost management tools and software.</li></ul>Additional InformationThe salary range for this full-time role is ** $130K-$150K** per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package.
