Requirements:Essential Functions:<ul><li>Provide support to improve supply management, repair, and maintenance of training ranges as required, ensuring optimal functionality for testing and training purposes.</li><li>Skilled in one or more of the following trades:</li></ul>Carpentry: <ul><li>Proficient in framing and installing doors, windows, staircases, and other structural elements. </li><li>Knowledge of using hand and power tools safely. </li><li>Ability to measure, cut, and assemble structures accurately. </li><li>Understanding of structural integrity, load-bearing principles, and construction codes. </li></ul>Electrical Work: <ul><li>Skilled in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems. </li><li>Experience with wiring, circuit breakers, and electrical panels. </li><li>Knowledge of safety codes and regulations. </li></ul>Masonry: <ul><li>Proficiency in bricklaying, stonework, and concrete finishing. </li><li>Ability to mix and apply mortar and other binding agents. </li><li>Skilled in repairing and restoring masonry structures. </li><li>Understanding of structural integrity and load-bearing principles. </li></ul>Plumbing: <ul><li>Skilled in installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems. </li><li>Knowledge of water supply, drainage, and HVAC systems. </li><li>Experience with fixtures, fittings, and plumbing tools. </li><li>Ability to diagnose and resolve plumbing issues efficiently. </li></ul>Wheeled Vehicle Maintenance: <ul><li>Proficient in diagnosing and repairing vehicle mechanical issues. </li><li>Experience in engine maintenance, brake systems, and electrical components. </li><li>Ability to perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance. </li></ul>Grounds Maintenance: <ul><li>Skilled in landscaping, lawn care, and groundskeeping tasks. </li><li>Experience in operating heavy equipment, mowers, and trimmers. </li><li>Ability to plant, prune, and maintain vegetation. </li></ul>Roofing: <ul><li>Proficient in installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems. </li><li>Experience working with shingles, metal roofing, and waterproofing techniques. </li><li>Ability to assess and repair leaks and structural damage. </li></ul>Welding: <ul><li>Proficient in MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques. </li><li>Ability to fabricate and repair metal structures and components. </li><li>Experience working with various metals, including steel and aluminum. </li></ul>Primary work location at Camp Mackall, North Carolina, with additional responsibilities at Fort Liberty and other locations in central North Carolina, based on training needs. Environmental Conditions:<ul><li>Ability to work in a variety of environments, including extreme heat, cold, humidity, dampness, and noise.</li><li>Exposure to dust, fumes, smoke, gases, solvents, grease, flammable materials, electrical hazards, and uneven surfaces.</li><li>Tasks may involve working around machinery, moving objects, on ladders or scaffolding, at significant heights, or below ground.</li><li>Must be able to handle unusual fatigue, vibration, and work both collaboratively with others and independently.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proficiency in one or more trades such as carpentry, electrical work, masonry, welding, plumbing, wheeled vehicle maintenance, grounds maintenance, roofing, or inventory control/supply.</li><li>Ability to successfully pass a background check.</li><li>Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.</li><li>Ability to perform effectively in challenging field conditions, both day and night, and in varying weather.</li><li>Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage and complete projects efficiently.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in the listed trades.</li><li>Physical ability to perform manual labor and complete construction projects within established timeline</li><li>Valid driver's license required.</li><li>U.S. citizenship required.</li></ul>Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain aSecret Security Clearance.Location: Fort Bragg, NC / Camp Mackall, NCTravel: Travel may be required.
