Job Description Job Description DescriptionESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSProfessionally represent our client and effectively support Company strategic initiativesEstablish and foster positive long-term relationships with internal customers and business partnersExecute company policies and proceduresEmbraces a lean culture and work environmentCultivate new and existing business relationships by engaging in client pursuits, RFP's, and interviews; positively promote Company to external business partners and contactsEstablish and foster positive long-term relationships with all business partners including owners, architects, engineers and subcontractorsCultivate and manage relationships with new and existing clients; Provide client with accurate estimates and value engineeringAssume single responsibility for large, complex projects; assume overall responsibility for thepreconstruction stage of each projectIdentify tasks to be accomplished in order to satisfy contractual requirementsEnsures estimates, schedules, constructability reviews, value engineering efforts, cost report planning and purchase planning efforts and documents meet detail, schedule and quality requirements. Provide overall Preconstruction effort oversight and show ability to lead a project team and project solutionsManage estimating process through initial advertising/prequalification and solicitation of subcontractors, bid evaluation process and awardEffectively schedule complete Preconstruction effort including all estimate milestones, durations and identifying long lead items and other needsInterfaces with Owner, Architect/Engineers and subcontractors to resolve technical matters during design or prebid, and provides engineering and cost data regarding project feasibility.
