10 years of General Contractor related construction and preconstruction experience, at least 5 years of which were directly involved with construction projects Experience with manufacturing or industrial sector construction (food, beverage, consumer products, pharmaceutical, or related industries preferred) Experience negotiating contracts and putting bids together for final presentation An understanding of prime contracts requirements including schedules, scopes, budgets, and performance expectations Construction estimating and procurement experience Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, Timberline, AutoCAD, or Revit software systems Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task on simultaneous projects A willingness to travel for project requirements including installation and start-up activities, client and company sponsored meetings, trainings, industry related seminars, forums, and conventions A bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management, or a related technical degree (preferred) OSHA 10- or 30-hour certification (preferred). Develop and maintain an effective preconstruction program to produce conceptual and preliminary budgets and schedules, establish and maintain a list of prequalified vendors and subcontractors, develop and maintain master bid documents and scopes of work, and participate in procurement of major project scopes of work and equipment.
