Maintain weekly reports on construction progress and inspection activities</li><li>Reviews weekly progress reports and photos and manages the onsite general contractor and site superintendent regarding project schedule, issue resolution and costs</li><li>Creates accurate capital budget estimates for potential stores coming to REC.  Manage actual construction costs to budgeted amounts.  Review and manage and mitigate change orders</li><li>Create fixture takeoffs from floor plans and construction documents</li><li>Bid and award construction projects.  Effectively onboard new general contractors</li><li>Enter and maintain accurate project/store data in the Tango database and create and maintain reporting</li><li>Manage post-construction activities, including store setup, final walkthroughs (onsite), punchlist resolution to ensure readiness for turnover to operations and grand openings</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent, from a two-year college or technical school, plus 7-10 years related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) required</li><li>Experience in multi-unit national/regional retailer preferred</li><li>Knowledgeable in standard construction costs, forms, and procedures, in a mall and strip center environments, with ability to review and create construction estimates to compare with industry standards</li><li>Construction knowledge with emphasis on interior retail store construction in both mall and strip center environments</li><li>Ability to read, interpret and evaluate blueprints</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to accurately communicate and explain field problems or site conditions</li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects and assignments</li><li>A valid State Driver's license is required</li><li>Ability to travel a minimum of 20%, to visit project locations within assigned project group and occasional weekend travel may be required</li><li>Knowledgeable of spreadsheet software, including Microsoft Office Suite</li><li>Knowledge of AutoCAD, a plus</li></ul>Pay Range$90,000 - $120,000
