Job Summary and Responsibilities:
The Qualifying General Contractor serves as the responsible licensed professional for the company, ensuring all general contracting and related construction activities comply with state licensing laws, building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. This role manages, renews, and obtains new general contracting licenses in support of the company’s pursuit, bid, and performance of construction services and provides technical oversight, supervision, of projects performed under the company’s license. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:<ul><li style="margin:0in 0in 0in 0.5in">Maintain up to date knowledge of construction laws, codes, and licensing requirements.</li><li style="margin-left:0.5in">Represent the company in matters related to licensing, compliance, and regulatory agencies.</li></ul><ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>Act as the qualifier for the company’s general contractor licenses.</li><li>Maintain active, compliant licensure in good standing with the state licensing board and other jurisdictional agencies or licensing boards.</li></ul><ul><li style="margin-left:0.5in">Address licensing board inquiries, audits, and compliance issues.</li><li style="margin-left:0.5in">Assist with permit applications, inspections, and code compliance corrections.</li><li style="margin-left:0.5in">Coordinate with Legal and Operations to develop and execute on licensing strategy.</li><li style="margin-left:0.5in">Ensure that all site work performance aligns to compliance requirements. </li><li style="margin-left:0.5in">Inform company stakeholders about requirements and regulations of government entities and municipalities to support compliance with general conditions and license requirements.</li><li style="margin-left:0.5in">Ability to travel periodically to work site locations.</li></ul>SAFETY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES <ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>Adhere to, promote, and accept personal responsibility for compliance with: Federal and Local Occupational Safety and Health Regulations; Industry Consensus Standards; and Circet USA Injury and Illness Prevention Program Manual</li></ul><ul><li style="margin-bottom:0in">Participate in job site safety/hazard analysis</li></ul>
