QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidate must possess excellent customer service and trade experience; knowledge of plumbing compliancy and on-the-job safety experience; be able to inspect plumbing and HVAC work performed; be knowledgeable in general residential construction and have the ability to operate construction related machinery; work with a variety of clients; understand basic math functions and calculations; the ability to lift and carry heavy objects; and the ability to communicate professionally. The Governor’s House Program is a program funded by SDHDA, in which prison inmates at the Mike Durfee State Prison build low-cost, low-maintenance, energy efficient homes to income qualified individuals and families.
